Our program is a weekly, semester-based class designed to help you build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing English while making new friends from all over the world.

OPEN DOORS English as a Second Language (ESL) program offers a welcoming space for adults to learn English, build conversation skills, and grow in confidence together. Each session includes practical English language learning, simple Bible lessons, and casual conversation time. This gives students a chance to practice speaking English in meaningful ways.
This program is open to adults 18 and older, and all skill levels are welcome. We accept students who are beginner level, intermediate learners, or advanced students who want to keep improving. Any country of origin, native language, or religious background is welcome. Our ESL classes serve people from all nations and all faiths.
Best of all, the entire year of classes costs just $10, making it an affordable way to learn English in a supportive, community-focused environment.

Absolutely not. People of all faiths, religions, and beliefs are completely welcome. This program is a service to our entire community, and we respect everyone’s background.
There is no childcare provided. Classes are for adults. You must be 18 years old or older.
The cost is a $10 fee for the whole year.
No, you can register in person on your first day.
We need people to help run the program. We are looking for teachers, assistant teachers, hosts, and substitutes. You do not need to speak a second language to help us.
