About This Message
How does a faith community survive the crushing weight of a culture that wants it to assimilate?
In Nehemiah 10, a fractured, post-exile society did something radical: they drew a line in the sand. They realized that without intentional boundaries and internal commitment, they would simply dissolve into the surrounding Persian empire.
While the ancient laws have been fulfilled in Christ, the blueprint for how a minority Church maintains its identity in 2026 remains exactly the same. We are diving into the ancient text of Nehemiah 10 to uncover the three non-negotiables for a thriving, resilient Church:
Submission to God's Word: We do not stand over the Word to critique it; we bow under the Word to be constructed by it.
Separation as God's People: Holy separation is about illumination, not isolation—we step apart to shine, not to hide.
Support for God's House: The local church thrives only when we trade the convenience of a consumer for the covenant of a contributor.
Measure your connection by the void: if your church vanished tomorrow, would your faith survive? And if you vanished tomorrow, would your church suffer?
