We live in an anxious, enraged world—a highly reactive "powder keg" where one spark sets off an emotional stampede. Sadly, this same culture of outrage, self-preservation, and people-pleasing often infiltrates the church, crippling us from the inside out with internal strife. How do we survive this cultural madness and remain sober-minded?

In this message from Philippians 2:1-11, we discover that the cure for our internal strife isn't a ten-step leadership strategy; it is a staggering view of the Deity of Jesus Christ. Paul pulls back the curtain on the Incarnation to show us how the Creator of the cosmos "emptied" Himself (kenosis). Jesus didn’t surrender His absolute power—He surrendered His infinite privilege. He traded the unapproachable light of heaven for the inescapable limits of humanity, ultimately enduring the ultimate scandal of the Roman cross.

He held nothing back. Christ died empty.
